Who we are
The Moroccan Danish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MDCCI) is a binational business platform dedicated to turning the potential between Morocco and Denmark into concrete collaboration. We bring together SMEs and large corporations, investors and institutions to build long-term, sustainable partnerships across key sectors and along the Moroccan Danish business corridor.
Key goals
Promoting sustainable trade & investment. We promote sustainable, mutually beneficial trade and investment between Morocco and Denmark by identifying concrete opportunities in sectors such as energy, water, industry, logistics and textiles, and by helping our members move from exploration to execution.
Facilitating high-value networking & collaboration. We connect Moroccan and Danish decision-makers, companies and institutions in a focused business network. Our aim is to create the right encounters at the right level, so that strategic dialogues can mature into long-term partnerships, joint projects and new market entries.
Strengthening diplomatic & economic cooperation. In close collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Denmark and relevant Danish partners, we work to translate diplomatic relations and political goodwill into actionable business growth, concrete initiatives and shared value for both economies.
An inclusive, high-calibre ecosystem. We champion the interests of both SMEs and large corporations and build synergies between key stakeholder organisations, investors, academia and cultural actors. Our goal is to create an open, high-calibre ecosystem where serious, long-term collaboration between Morocco and Denmark can grow.

He is a significant shareholder and board member of Denmark’s largest automotive company, Semler Group. In addition to being politically active in his native Denmark, he also has experience from board memberships at trade associations and NGOs, and chairs the board of leading Danish solar power developer, GreenGo Energy. He became connected to Morocco through his wife Sophie. Currently, Jan runs several business projects in Morocco. He is an active investor in multiple green and renewable technology companies and maintains a wide investor network in Denmark and beyond.

Prior to founding URITI in 2022, Kenza headed the project finance practice at Dentons in Casablanca, with a focus on French-speaking Africa. Prior to that, she was an associate at leading law firms such as Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy and White & Case in Paris and Casablanca. She was also a lawyer at Crédit Agricole CIB in New York. Kenza was named one of the ‘35 Women Moving Africa Forward’ by NBC Washington and featured in ‘Rising Woman 2020’. She sits on the board of the Great Green Wall of Africa Foundation and is an ambassador for the Women in Africa initiative in Morocco. Kenza is a member of the Casablanca Bar and holds a master’s degree in international business law from the Université Jean Moulin – Paris Sud 11, as well as an LLM in business law in Arab countries from the Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas.
